Rose Gold Michael Kors Watch

Zee here...

I finally got round to using the money that I got for my 21st birthday last year and bought myself a beautiful Michael Kors watch! From the start I knew I wanted to use the money for a watch as it seemed like a lovely keepsake but I also wanted to make sure it was the right one. It didn't take long for me to set my heart on a Michael Kors watch as all the collection are stunning.

I loved this watch when I saw it and I can't get enough of the colour rose gold now! At first though I was a little worried as all of my expensive jewellery is silver so I was concerned this wouldn't match. However rose gold seems to go perfectly with both silver and gold! I feel like the colour helps make the watch stand out and look more stylish too. The watch has a bit of weight to it which shows that's it's made from good quality material but because it's a perfect fit you can't feel the weight at all when wearing it, it's actually very comfortable!

I was lucky enough to purchase my watch while on holiday in Florida. I knew I wanted to buy my watch out there so it became my mission to find a Michael Kors store (turned out to be very easy). We found one in an outlet shopping district in Estero. The photo below shows the outside of the store, the inside was beautiful! Surrounded by stunning bags, purses and jewellery it was hard to focus but I knew what I came for. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, even offering advice on what we should do in the area, I really didn't expect it from such a high end store! I was throroughly impressed and left with a big smile on my face. And the best part? My watch only cost $250 which is the equivalent of around £160 - sooo much cheaper than in the UK! I love my watch and had a great time buying it in the Michael Kors store.

My Outfit for an Oxford Wedding

Zee here...

Below is the outfit I wore this weekend to a wedding in Oxford at the lovely Oxford Thames Four Pillars Hotel. I love lace so when I saw a shell pink lace dress in New Look I just had to have it! And want to know what the best bit is? It was in a summer exclusive 25% off deal! That meant this dress went down from £22.99 to £17 - what a bargain!!

One of the best things about the colour shell pink is that it's very easy to accersorize. I chose to wear nude strappy heels with my dress as I feel they always look nice and classy at a wedding. Also it struggle with shoes as I have narrow feet with a high instep but as these high heels have a strap I'm a lot more comfortable in them and can stay in them longer! The nude high heels were also from New Look and cost £19.99.

I was unsure what jewellery to wear as the dress came with a black and gold belt and all of my gold necklaces are chunky fashion ones which would clash with this dress. I decided to go for some statement earrings instead which can be seen in the image below. The pink and gold flower earrings looked great on and really brightened up my outfit! I decided that as I was wearing big earrings I didn't need a necklace on with the dress and I also decided against bracelets as yet again all my gold ones are fashion bangles and made to make a statement.

I used a black envelope clutch with a gold trim to match the black belt I had one. This bag is a perfect size for me as I could fit my flat beaded sandals (for in case my feet hurt too much in the heels), make up, money, keys and phone in! It also looked great with the outfit so tied it altogether nicely! I have had this clutch bag for a while now but it was also from New Look.

The wedding was lovely and the venue was absolutely beautiful! The weather even held out for us too. It was a great day and I loved my outfit!

Accessorize Sterling Silver Earrings

Zee here...

I've had the second and third holes in my ear pierced for a few years but for the past year I haven't really bothered wearing any earrings in them and eventually assumed they'd closed. When I found out they hadn't I knew right away I wanted some cute tiny earrings in them as I didn't want to swamp my ear in jewellery. Whenever I need new earrings the first place I think of is Accessorize as it always has such pretty jewellery. I also like the fact they have a range that is sterling silver jewellery which reduces the chances of irritation or a reaction from the metal.

The picture below shows the cute little earrings I found! I originally pictured myself just getting two small gems but this pack had sweet tiny flowers and birds so I couldn't resist! They are the perfect size and look great in my ear!

I have already received compliments on how lovely the little flower earrings are so I'm really pleased with my purchase! These earrings cost £8, which isn't bad for three pairs. Also because they are sterling sliver they shouldn't rust or change colour.

I will regularly be checking to see when Accessorize gets any more lovely little earrings in so I can expand my collection.

Mint Velvet Necklaces

B here...

My sister came to visit last weekend, so we decided to pop into Mint Velvet on Tunbridge Wells High Street to have a browse. I knew for a fact that I wouldn't be leaving empty handed as their necklaces are so nice and the lovely styling guru Lynne Meek had tweeted a picture of a Mint Velvet necklace she had recently worn, which I loved.

We arrived at Mint Velvet and as soon as I walked in, I had already spotted one necklace that I wanted. The Rose Gold Bolt necklace for £35. It's the perfect length for me as I really only wear long necklaces. You could describe it as tribal with the beads and orange black colouring.

I continued to look around and on the counter, there was this stand of necklaces and I spotted the one that Lynne had tweeted and it was lovely. I tried it on and was the perfect length again and would be a great addition to layer up with my other necklaces. The necklace is called Fine Arrowhead & Stone and is also £35.

Here's the packaging: a lovely small Mint Velvet bag and each necklace in a protective pouch.

Here are the necklaces that my lovely other half bought me. The Rose Gold Bolt necklace on the left and the Fine Arrowhead & Stone necklace on the right, both at £35.

Primark Colourful Chunky Necklace

B here...

As I've said in a previous post, I went to Lakeside Shopping Centre the other weekend and went a bit mad in Primark. With some trips to Primark, I find nothing but on this occasion it was quite the opposite and left with 4 pairs of shoes, a necklace, a cami top and mini Cath Kidston lookalike lanterns!

This necklace really caught my eye with all the summery colours of blue, pinks and reds and at £6, you can't go wrong. It's not particularly heavy and can jazz up a casual look.

Lakeside Primark is a really good one compared to some other Primark's I have visited. It has 3 massive floors and it's all spaced out and not too cramped where people are trampling on you.

Overall, I love the necklace and on my next Primark trip, I hope I find some more treasures.

Skinnydip London Pineapple iPhone 5 Case

B here...

I first came across Skinnydip London on Instagram. I was automatically drawn to their photos which led me to browse their website too. That's where I found my new iPhone 5 case...pineapples!! There seems to be pineapple print everywhere at the moment and now it's on my phone. It is currently retailed at £12, which I think is very reasonable for an iPhone case. The case is also hardback and see-through.

I love this ice cream case too! Might have to buy it :)
